PRE-CHECK early high school package

For parents and students early in high school who would like assistance planning courses and activities that will enhance their experiences in high school as they begin to think about college options.

  • Introduce high school course options and progression

  • Utilize curriculum mapping to establish a 4-Year plan for high school coursework

  • Evaluate extracurricular activities to maximize leadership, service, involvement and enrichment as it relates to the college process

  • Discuss possible summer enrichment activities

FIRST CLASS COMPREHENSIVE package – LIMITED space available!

This package begins as early as January of the junior year and continues throughout the application and decision process senior year.  Monthly virtual meetings are scheduled and each student is given a Custom College Plan account to keep the student on-task and organized throughout the research and application process. The summer is used to get a head start on all components of the application process.     


  • Student Assessment: Evaluation of the student’s academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and extracurricular activities to determine admission probabilities.

  • Career Exploration Package: YouScience® Aptitude Assessment; impactful guidance by combining aptitudes and interests to match a student to their best-fit personalized career path.

  • Guidance: Utilize curriculum mapping to establish a 4-Year plan, understand high school course selection, evaluate extracurricular and summer activities.


  • Standardized Testing: Outline a testing timeline, advice on which tests (SAT or ACT) to take and test prep options.

  • College List Development: Personalized college list highlighting best-fit colleges. Goal is to develop a balanced list of reach, match and safety colleges considering academic, social and financial needs.

  • College Visit Planning: Provide college visit tips and checklists.

  • Application Deadlines & Requirement: Research application deadlines, and application require to establish an overall application timeline.

  • CustomCollegePlan® Student Portal: Online and accessible 24-hours a day throughout the process to assist with organization and structure.


  • Application Strategies: Review of different application options, with guidance on when to apply. (Early Action, Early Decision, Regular Decision, etc.)

  • Application Support: Assistance with completing college applications on the common application, coalition application or school specific application. (up to 10 college applications)

  • Activity Résumé: Assistance with the development of the high school activities list and brag sheet.

  • Essay Brainstorming: Helping a student find their story and overcome the blank page syndrome.

  • Essay Editing and Feedback: Guidance crafting the final essay through edits and revision. (up to 8 essays)

  • Letters of Recommendation: Advice on asking for recommendations from teachers and counselors, including follow-up and Thank You notes.

  • Interview Tips: Guide to successful a college interview including research and preparation.


  • Fit Analysis: Putting it all together to determine which schools are the "best-fit" socially, academically and financially.

  • Final Visit Planning: Make the most of a final visit to assist with making a final decision.

  • Final Decision: Assistance with making the final decision.


  • Transition to College: Evaluate enrollment tasks, housing options, orientation, scheduling and provide sorority recruitment assistance.


This boot camp is for rising seniors who want additional guidance through the college application process and/or want to have their college application process already in motion before the school year starts. It is especially helpful for students who have a busy fall schedule, those who would like to apply early action or early decision, and those who are hoping to receive financial aid and merit scholarships. Before the camp

  • Assemble pre-boot camp documents and files

  • Complete a guided conversation with their parents regarding their college preferences

  • Meet one-on-one for a personal family consultation including advice on which colleges might be a good fit

During the camp

 Will there be homework? Yes, upon registration, students AND parents will be given a homework assignment to be completed and returned to us together with your academic records. In addition, students will have homework assignments during the boot camp primarily related to drafting their essays.
